How to build a cardboard boat using only elmers glue? no tape or wax coating allowed.. oh boy?

This is for my physics project the teacher said no wax caoting no tape no special adhesive glues only elmers… and two people with a weight of about 300 lbs total have to sit in it… if you can help me please do this is a tough one

You can thin down the elmers with water so that it is more of a wash and the first coats will soak in and seal the cardboard. Apply many many thin coats to achieve best results. Don’t make the solution too watery or the cardboard will absorb too much water and collapse.
