what is the difference between wegner and victorinox swiss army knifes?

i know it is probably the wrong catagory

The main differences are stylistic and functions. Wenger tend to have more exotic functions – like cigar cutters, and Victorinox tend to be more useful.
The reason for the two companies is to prevent any claims of regional favouritism between French and German speaking parts of Switzerland, so when a company in the German speaking area got the contract to provide the Swiss Army with knives, a French speaking company had to be found to provide a similar product.
