Bag Holds

What type of carry on, under-the-seat bag could I take that serves as a purse, yet holds the baggies w/liquids?

I will be attending my child’s college orientation, and I don’t want to be loaded down with a large tote bag-purse. I need it to fit under the seat and hold the liquids baggie. I’ll be carrying it for 3 days on campus tours, so I want it to be as light and small as possible. Any suggestions from seasoned travelers? Since I don’t travel much, it must be rather inexpensive.

Any tote/purse you like. Your liquids/gels have to be in one one-quart ziplock bag which you will have to remove from your tote bag and place in a bin at the security check point. Each item can be no more than three ounces and you can’t have more than one bag of such items. TSA’s website has complete info.
