Bear Mgc

looking for a good balisong?
Im a beginner with balisongs, and I have a bear mgc right now. Its pretty heavy duty and Im looking for something better for doing tricks with. I dont want to spend too much money, but I want a quality knife, not one of those non sharpened training knives either. Please show me where I might purchase such a knife.
I give you props, dude, for wanting a live blade. To begin with, what you have is a ccc. Bear and sons are one of leaders in the good for the price balisongs along with Jaguar.
I own the next 3 that I’m about to mention:
After those, you have the Bradley Kimura series. The Kimuras are fantastic considering the price tage and are widely regarded as being worth more than you actually pay. The general price of them is about $90. The only problem I have with them is the blade shape. Me no like spear points except: (see next entry)
Following that, You have the benchmade model 51 morpho. Extremely light. Durable g10. D2 steel blade that never lets go of that edge. At grandpraire knives, they are about $160 is what I got mine for. I haven’t regreted it yet.
If you really don’t mind dropping some money on it though, Benchmade Model 42 (If you can find one.) These are widely regarded as the holy grail of flipping. I absolutely love it. It truely is great. The handles are solid milled out tianium that you couldn’t break even if you tried. The 154cm blade retains the edge extremely well. It’s balance of blade/handle weight is superb.
These are the 3 that I personally own and can vouch for all three. It’s up to you to decide which one is worth it. If you ever need any help with combos, trick, or just advice on your progress you can join us at the Flipping Arena. The best flippers in the world are there. www.brokenbrains.us/arena
