my computer will start up and there are no beeps and the screen will not come on it is blank. Is the mb dead?

I change memory, video card, monitor and power supply and the computer comes on but the screen is black. The computer is a hp pavilion a749c
Is there a way to tell if the processor is any good?

Try putting your old memory back in and make sure the memory is firmly seated in the sockets. Once you’re able to get screen, take the old memory out and put the new ones back in and try it again, if you get no screen then it’s the memory. Also make sure the power supplies cables are firmly seated and did you connect the additional 4-pin power connector?
