If Youre Being Attacked, Use Pepper Spray to Defend Yourself

Most of the time, our lives are peaceful. But there are times when things just dont go our way and we need a little help. When things arent going our way, sometimes things get really out of hand and we need to have more than just a little help. When things get really out of hand, it is nice to have some pepper spray by your side to help get you through.

Crime happens everywhere. While many of us may never become the victims of crime, it still wouldnt hurt to have something with us for protection. Could you imagine what you would do if you were walking in the park and someone pulled a knife on you and told you to give them your wallet? Would you be ready to protect yourself in a fight, or would your assailant win because you didn’t know what to do? What about someone breaking into your house and threatening the safety of your family?

Pepper spray is a very effective means of defense. When sprayed, it causes the attacker to go temporarily blind by causing the capillaries in their eyes to swell. Then, their nose will start to run profusely and their breathing will because strained. Wherever the pepper falls on their skin, they will feel an excruciating burning sensation. These effects can last up to a half hour, even forty-five minutes! What this will do is provide you some time to make your escape and telephone the police.

While pepper spray is not legal everywhere, you should buy some if it is legal in your area. That way, if you find yourself in a sticky situation you will have some sort of self defense. It isnt expensive to buy, but it is very easy to use.

After you have purchased your spray, you should carry it with you as often as you can. The ideal place to carry it is on your belt in a holster, but you can carry it any place that is convenient. When it comes time to use it, point it towards the assailants face for the best results. You can flee to safety once the pepper spray stops the assailant. Pepper spray isnt for playing hero. Leave the hero work to the police and save yourself. Prepare yourself today and save yourself the trouble tomorrow.
