Oblivion – Knight of the Nine unequipped stronger armor?

I used the Bound Armor glitch to make a permanent helmet, cuirass, greave, gauntlet and boots. I wanted to equip my Knight of the Nine so that she would be stronger when facing the Daedra/enemies… After I finished, i reverse-pickpocketed her and put the Bound items into her inventory. I dismissed her then recalled her back to duty (she went to bed then woke up) because only then would she change her armor. After that, I fast-traveled to the Imperial City from the Priory of the Nine and her items disappeared – they changed back to the Knight of the Nine cuirass, chainmail helmet.. etc.

I think in Oblivion, people reset in a day. You cannot permanently kill someone since they revive the next day(unless it is part of the story). Maybe that rule applies to this
