Custom Fingerstyle Guitar?

I’m looking to order a custom guitar. I’m just interested in the various wood combinations that you would recommend for a fingerstyle guitar. So far, I believe that a Western Cedar Top with Cocobolo back and sides is the best. Let me know what you think. I’m also curious about the various neck dimensions and profiles. I hear V-necks are great. Lastly…Taylor or Lakewood? I truly adore Lakewoods at heart, but Taylor has the new Grand Symphony model that I’m in love with. Lakewood only offers the Grand Concert or Auditorium and I can’t tell the difference. Please tell me what you think.

Cedar is a very warm wood which does not have the sparkly high end of spruce. You should play some cedar top guitars before you order your guitar. Cocobolo is a lot like rosewood and is a good choice.
