Condor Knife

What knife should I get?
I’m stuck in a bad situation… I found the Ka-Bar Potbelly 7.5″ blade , it’s 1/4″ thick, comes with a smaller knife, and a sheath with a pocket for storage of items, and is American made. The steel is 1095 “Krovan”. It’s around $80. I then came across the Condor Hudson Bay. It’s 3/16″ thick, 8.5″ blade and made in El Salvador and comes with a leather sheath. The steel is 1075 high carbon. Please help!!!
I use my knives for chopping, making shelter, doing other survival tasks
You didn’t say what you are doing with it but here is the best big @$$ knife deal going:

Or just the knife (its 420 Stainless, pretty standard balance between sharp and corrosion resistance in outdoor situations):

You can’t do better than SOG, but you can do worse.
