Fantasy Flying

Does anyone else dislike guns and technology in fantasy games, books and film?

For me it’s games. Just about every fantasy game has pistols, shotguns and rifles but it’s fantasy. It’s stupid. There’s dragons, goblins, magic and people who talk in olde English who wear old clothing yet they have guns and teleporters and flying machines? Am I the only one who sees something wrong with all of this? I’ve only met one person who feels the same way. It’s like everyone else has no problem with it. It’s just very out of place.

Not me…I like them, I own them, I shoot them, I live with them, and I do not fear any man or woman because should they try to harm me or my family, they will die for their effort. No qualms, no catches, and definitely no 911 until it comes time to clean up the mess.

If someone is going to beat your brains out with a club or some other object, what makes you think you will be saved by some cop who won’t get there for another 20 minutes? Do you in your vast imagination truly believe that the criminal will simply stop a wait for the cops to get there? Or that he will run away in terror when you pull your cell phone out to call for help? NO Way!! Give me a moment with my .45 ACP to see the difference.

Of course you could carry around a spray can of Wasp & Hornet spray and a Bic lighter. If the spray doesn’t stop them then light your Bic and you both will ignite from the blast.
