I am fighting a driving with no insurance charge, yet I had insurance. What to do?

I called my insurance broker the Friday before the
July long weekend to endorse my old car. Reason, either move it from my driveway to the side of the house to make room for my utility trailer and sell the car, or take it in for repairs. I moved it on the following Monday and got caught. Officer charged me for no Insurance as at the time I had no slip to prove otherwise. I called the insurance company and asked for the slip as quickly as possible. Went to Pointts, paid $ 900.00 and 3 court dates later, it’s going into a resolution. What should I expect and what else can I do?
