how much could a shin gunto type 95 japanese sword sell for?

i have a shin gunto type 95 ww2 japanese sword, i want to know how much it would sell for
i dont want to sell it

Depends on a lot of factors, not the least of which is condition

Basically any antiques value depends on where you sell it….. If you sell it at a major antique auction house you will get more than if you sell it in a store, on Ebay or to an individual….. so value depends on what someone is willing to pay

Look up similar swords on Ebay (buyers market usually lower than actual value)….. look it up in a price guide found at your local book store……or in that same book store look up the current Registry ( they list collectors, museums and auction houses for all types of collectible)….. contact some of the experts listed…. usually they have email addresses…. they are usually willing to share their expertise
