Knife Scottish

Knife Scottish
What are the California Knife laws concerning unconcealed knives?

I understand the laws with concealed knives but what about unconcealed. Im asking since i would like to get a scottish dagger for my wedding ceremony.

The only knives which are generally regulated by length are switchblades (must be under 2 inches). Fixed blade and folding knives can be of any length. Fixed blade knives cannot be concealed, but carried openly in a belt sheath is not concealed. (However, a sgian dubh in your sock would be illegal.) There may also be some local regulations which conflict with State law (I believe they are unenforceable, but that won’t stop an arrest).
