I have a 20 gal tank with a pictus catfish , and a small black ghost knife.i need a new fish, any suggestions?

Hello,i just wanted to know, if anyone can give me an estimate on what i can put in my 20 gallon high freshwater aquarium, along with my BGK and my pictus catfish.
A few things i had in mind were, a rope fish,another pictus,or anything else thats exciting and elegant,Also i feed my BGK these tropical crisps, bloodworm’s and some baby shrimp.I’ve been reading things about feeding it frozen meat..i don’t really understand that, but i really am interested in the rope fish and i really want one.
ok, so if i do get a 55-75 gallon tank, what am supposed to put it on, because i put my 20 on this table and it almost collapsed.

your overstocked now so adding these fishes is basically stupid.

i hope you have other tanks, larger ones.

silver pitcus, they will reach about7-8 incches and very active, so they dont belong in a 20 gallon, move it into at least 55 gallons.

BGKs, i think you need to research them more. in a 20 gallon???? they need at least 75 gallon, my largest BGK was about 23-26 inches long and was over 8 years old. I currently own about 10 of them and they are large and wont fit in a 20 high.

Ropefish, again need at least 55 gallons, im not exactly sure of the size as i dont have first hand experience with rope fish, but i believe they are in the 6-9 inch range, and need a bigger tank.

You need to reconsider your stocking ethics as your overstocked with the pitcus and buying these new fish is just out of the question. If you like odd balls like this, i hate to tell you but they are larger fishes and need much larger tanks. If you get a 75 gallon, then you can do it fine.

By keepoing them in a smaller tank your going to stunt them and kill them alot faster.

You need to do more research and reconsider fishkeeping if you cant properly house yourfishes.
