Should your breasts be red three weeks after a reduction?

I had slight complications with my right breast and had to go under the knife again because the blood supply was kinked. It was sorted and I lost a bit of tissue at the top of my nipple. Now I’ve been dressing the area with meladerm (a honey based ointment from the doc) and micropore and my breast is very red just below the dressing. I can’t get hold of the doc til Friday as he is out of town and I’m just a bit concerned.

Go topless a round the house to let the area breath. even if it is 10 minutes at a time. the moister of your skin needs to dry. don’t worry, worry makes things take more time to heal.
