Is it illegal to bring carry pocket knife pass canada border?

I was just wondering if it was illegal to bring pocket knife pass the canada border from usa. I usually carry it for self defense or to open a fruit =D, just wondering if it was legal or not.

There is no laws against pocket knifes in Canada. It doesn’t matter the length or if its a double edged blade. The only problem you may run into is the concealed weapons law. If a officer decided your intent is to use the knife as a weapon and its concealed they may do something.
