Knives Short

What is a good knife collecting book?
Can you recommend a good book for a knife collector? I thought knife collecting was popular, but only found one book at barnes and noble, and it didn’t have much information, and mostly dealt with knife values. I’m looking for a detailed history of different brands, descriptions of the different types of steel, recent innovations in materials, how knives are made, definitions of the knife shapes, short biographies of popular knife artists and designers, uses for different types of knives, etc. Please recommend a book or good resource.
I like these:
The Standard Knife Collector’s Guide [Illustrated]
Levine’s Guide to Knives and Their Values by Bernard Levine
American Premium Guide to Knives & Razors: Identification and Value Guide by Jim Sargent (Maybe the best for Case knives)
International Blade Collectors Association Price Guide to Commemorative Knives (1960 – 1990) by Bruce Voyles – this is the best book to to cover commemoratives, even though it is out of date.)
Thees are the ones I use. I have also started making my own knifes. Hope this helps. Collecting is fun, find a Knife Show in your area and asking questions, most folks will help.
