Leather Handle
Where can I find a Leather Handle like this?
I found this old Weston Model Voltmeter that has it’s leather handle broken off.

I’m hoping to give it as a gift to a family member that is an electrician.
There are screws that I can hopefully undo. Does anyone have any tips on how to unscrew rusted or old screws?
The leather has wide ends that are secured by the brackets at the top. It kind of looks like a mushroom on either end.
Please keep in mind that the Voltmeter is rather heavy, which is why the original handle probably broke off.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

The pic does not come up but I think I know what you mean. Get some heavy leather from a craft shop (Michael’s?) and make your own handle. As far as the screws are concerned, use a solvent oil like WD-40. Apply the solvent and let it sit for a while. Use a good screwdriver that is the correct size and type for the screws so that it doesn’t slip and ruin the screw slot. Be careful and you may succeed in loosening the screws without breaking them.
