how much are my leather garmisch ski boots worth?

Has two layers of tied leather and a metal toe plate where it fits on the ski. Has a stitched design at the top and on the sides. Says made in Germany Baveria on the inside. On the top outside it says garmisch with a heart above the i. boots re in excellant condition and still smell like leather. Bought used in 1966.

Hard to say – it is axiomatic that they are worth what someone is willing to pay for them. The real challenge will be finding the right collector.

I took a look on eBay and found one page of leather ski boots, ranging in asking price from about $25 to $125. There was obviously a broad range of conditions. Some were pretty beat up. The ones with a $125 asking price were Kastinger’s, a name that vaguely rings a bell from my youth (when I started, you still saw leather boots on peoples’ feret, though no one was selling them). They looked like they were in pretty good condition.
