Old Timer

What are some good questions to ask an old timer TV repairman?
My friend who is almost 77 is a retired T.V. Repairman.
He has taught me quite alot about television but to keep the conversations going, I need some questions and problems to pose on him to keep him chatting.
He is in a Veteran’s Home for the elderly and likes talking about old tube b and w sets especially.
I would appreciate many responses and thanks to all.
Ask him this, Why do they call them TV sets when you only get one?
Then do some research on some cool collectible antique TVs, and show him some of these pictures. (see links below)
Also, have you seen the price of some of the tubes needed in these old sets. I remember when you could go to the corner drug store and buy some of the smaller tubes for 59 cents.
If I knew then what I know now, I would have bought a whole truck load of old tubes, their worth their weight in gold now. But sadly, with the advance in technology, the ol’ sets won’t be able to get a signal after 2008.
