What color should I do my nails for prom if I’m wearing an Emerald color dress?

I have pearl and gold jewelry with it. And I’m wearing my hair up.
I was thinking about getting white acrylic tips, with a thin gold line under the white part.
What do you guys think?

The gold line is uber tacky – to the point of ghetto. Either go white tips only or go lipstick red.
