Can any one tell me a valid point why Lion is called the ” King of Jungle”?

Though there are equally powerful animals like Cheetah and tiger, Lion is called the King..why not the venomous Snakes and why not the monster crocs…

The mane looks kinda like a crown.
They actually have a matriarchal society and you usually see the alpha of the pride sitting on a rock being lazy, kinda like a king sitting on a throne.
In the pride, he gets what he wants before anyone else gets it.
The only time he has to fight is to ward off other male lions trying to take his role.
