Will Color Opps work for my blonde to red hair?

I want to dye my hair a red/orange color, like Hayley Williams from paramore. My natural hair color is dark blonde and I asked my mother about dying it and she said no. Then I found Color Oops and I thought that if I told her I could take the color out if we didnt like it then maybe she’d let me try it. So the actual question is, Does Color Oops actually work and will it change red back to dark blonde?
