Why do roaches / beetles die belly side up?

Just wondering. Why don’t they die on their feet or side? Do the roll over when they know they’re going to die? Or do they get knocked over upside down and can’t get rolled over again and just die from starvation?

Probably just knocked over, or blown over. I mean, when was the last time you sat around and waitied for a bug to die?
