Using scientific calculator, how do you find pH that measures the acidity or the basicity of a solution?

My scientific calculator called “SENTRY”.
pH= -log [H3O^+]
[H3O^+]= 7.23 x 10^-8
The answer should be +7.14
Please if you know. Thank you.
How I will do 10^-8 on calculator?

There should be a y^x button.

So type 7 . 2 3 x 10 y^x (-) 8

This could also be x^y. I’ve looked at 3 scientific calculators at http://www.sentryindustries.com/category/calculators/ and they all have this button.

Your other option to do 10^-8 is that the log button usually has a 10^x button associated with it. You either need to push shift then log or 2ndF then log, depending on your calculator.
