Smooth Knife

I’ve been thinking of getting an Ontario RAT Knife, The handle looks smooth like it will slip?

I have a RAT 3 and a RAT 5. The handles actually provide excellent grip. Even though there is no “large texture” such as checkering or grooves, the linen micarta handles have a very good gripping surface/texture. One nice feature, the grip is just as good when it gets wet. Even with slippery blood.
