How to remove tie / track rod bar to steering rack on a Renault Clio 182?

Hi there I have a Renault Clio 182 sport 54plate and am struggling to remove the track rod bar which links to the steering rack.

Renault dealers use a special tool that grips the round body of the tie rod to remove it and refit it, it is a bit like a stud extractor and the more they try and turn it the tighter it grips. With out the tool the only way you will be able to remove it is with a pair of stillsons or a large pair of grips. They can be a bit tight to remove as they are some times locked in place using loctite thread lock.
