Swords Katana

Is there some kind of martial arts class where i can learn how to use katana swords?

I just need the name of the type like judo or whatever and also… is there a practical use, apart from being awesome, for knowing how to use the swords?

In Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu we study katana through the Kukishin Ryu. There are also some arts, such as Yagyu Shinkage Ryu and Musashi Ryu, that are just completely dedicated to the katana as well.
