Cleveland Browns Tickets – A Whole Lot Of Moving And Shaking

If you’re the type who likes to procrastinate or put things off, they say, there’s no time like the present. If you don’t believe that’s true, take notes from the Cleveland Browns. The Browns recently hired offensive line coach George Warhop. “We are pleased to add Coach Warhop to our staff,” Brown head coach Eric Mangini said. Warhop comes to the Brown from the San Francisco 49ers.

The coaching lineup now includes offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, assistant head coach/special teams coordinator Brad Seely, wide receivers coach Wes Chandler, defensive line coach Bryan Cox, assistant strength and conditioning coach Alan DeGennaro, defensive quality control coach Andy Dickerson, defensive backs coach Jerome Henderson, assistant strength and conditioning coach Rick Lyle, offensive quality control coach George McDonald, strength and conditioning coach Tom Mylinski, quarterbacks coach Carl Smith and newest addition Warhop.

Almost at the same time, the Combine, scheduled to start on February 18, has a list of invitees already. The excited list of hopefuls is Nate Davis from Bellaire, Robert Brewster from Cincinnati Wyoming, Kevin Huber from Cincinnati McNicholas, Trevor Canfield Cincinnati Western Hills, Mike Mickens from Wayne, DeAngelo Smith from Columbus Independence, Brandon Underwood from Hamilton, Andrew Means from Avon Lake, Bradley Fletcher from Youngstown Liberty, Eric Wood from Cincinnati Elder, Brian Hoyer from St. Ignatius, Javon Ringer from Dayton Chaminade-Julienne, Tyrell Sutton from Akron Hoban, David Bruton from Miamisburg, Alex Boone from St. Edward, Marcus Freeman from Wayne, Brian Hartline from Canton GlenOak, Brian Robiskie from Chagrin Falls, Chris Wells form Akron Garfield, Gerald Cadogan from Portsmouth and Greg Orton from Wayne.

Before the ink quite dried on the invitations to the Combine, the Browns gave public notice of seven roster moves just a few days after the invites. Contracts were terminated with Ken Dorsey, Antwan Peek and Terry Cousin. Contracts were waived for offensive lineman Eric Young, punter Mike Dragosavich and kicker Jason Reda.

One thing that hasn’t changed about the Browns is the Cleveland Browns Foundation, what was created in 1999 to help those who need assistance. When it comes to the foundation, everyone associated with the Browns jumps in to lend a hand to civic groups, hospitals, non-profit organizations, charities, schools and charitable causes in the northern Ohio community.

The Browns also recently announced that ticket prices for home games will not go up in 2009. “After careful consideration, we decided not to change our ticket pricing for the upcoming season,” said Browns President Mike Keenan. “We hope that this, along with the introduction of new payment options, will ensure an affordable product.”

So there’s nothing short of plenty of activity going on in the Browns’ camp lately. The home schedule for the Browns will include games where the Browns host the Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Oakland Raiders.

With so much excitement and the season hasn’t even started, sounds like 2009 is going to be fine for the Browns!
