A Samurai with a samurai sword
A ninja with nunchacku
A Berserker with an ax
A knight with a longsword
An Apache with a tomahawk
A hoplite with a spear and shield
They are fighting in an open field with room to manuever. Fair weather.
No rules.

wow… so assuming that the fight is a gladiator style kind of fight, then apache would have no chance since they rely on ambush and element of surprise. hoplites would bad in onevsone, they are only good in mass numbers, a single hoplite can be outmanuvred easily. a ninja with nunchuck wont do much damage againts armor, shaolin monk wears no armor either and bo wont hurt, shaolin will lose brutally.

now left with, berseker, knight and samurai.. now i’d put my money on a knight, since knight’s chainmail is proven to be very protective againts samurai (watch an episode of deadliest warrior). and a sword shud do better againts an ax.
